What Is the Mirror Eye System?
The Mirror Eye system uses cameras and screens to replace conventional mirrors. It offers:

Jason’s On-Road Experience
- Performance in Bad Weather:
“The camera lenses stayed perfectly clean despite driving through snow and sloppy roads,” Jason said. “This was a huge relief compared to traditional mirrors that often get obscured.” - Customizable Screen Settings:
Jason appreciated the ability to adjust brightness and other settings for comfort during both daytime and nighttime driving. - Tandem Tracking During Turns:
One of his favorite features was the system’s ability to follow trailer tandems during turns. “The camera pans out during a right turn, keeping the tandems in plain view the entire time. This has the potential to eliminate collisions during turns—an incredible benefit.”

- Depth Perception Challenges:
“Backing under a trailer during coupling made me a little nervous,” Jason admitted. “But the screen’s feature to create lines showing the rear of the trailer helped a lot.” - Close-Quarters Maneuvering:
The system provides a clear view of the tractor’s front passenger side, including the front bumper and steer tire. “This will be awesome when backing in tight spots where our tractors often encounter damage.”
