Accounts Receivable Specialist
The Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist is responsible for executing daily accounts receivable, cash application, and collection activities with accuracy, urgency, and professionalism. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely cash flow while supporting customer collections, trailer subrogation efforts, and operational cost recovery.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with customers regarding payment expectations, and able to work cross-functionally with Billing, Customer Service, Sales, and Operations to resolve discrepancies and recover costs.
For the right candidate with strong AR and Collections experience in the transportation industry, we are open to remote work options.
Responsibilities Include:
- Execute daily accounts receivable and cash application activities, including posting, balancing, and applying payments to customer accounts.
- Monitor customer aging and actively collect past-due accounts, working with customer AP and Purchasing teams to resolve payment delays.
- Investigate and resolve unapplied cash, variances, and invoice discrepancies; reconcile AR to the General Ledger and support month-end close.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications, payment commitments, and collection activity.
- Support trailer subrogation and recovery efforts, including documentation, follow-up, and tracking recoveries.
- Assist with operational cost recovery, pushing back on customers for additional costs incurred when approvals cannot be obtained through standard channels.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to invoices, statements, proof of delivery, and account status.
- Partner cross-functionally with Billing, Customer Service, Sales, and Operations to resolve disputes and protect revenue.
- Assist with credit reviews, credit holds, and monitoring customer payment trends, escalating concerns as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, support audits and reconciliations, and cross-train to assist other accounting functions.
- Maintain a professional, collaborative work environment and support flexible scheduling based on business needs.
- Assist with new customer setup, ensuring all billing, invoicing, and account requirements are accurately captured in the system.
- Review, process, and follow up on trailer detention charges in accordance with customer agreements.
- Audit invoices for accuracy, including rates, accessorial charges, and compliance with contracts or customer-specific requirements.
- Understand and document unique customer billing and payment requirements; ensure all internal processes meet these standards.
- Maintain and monitor KPIs such as aged accounts receivable, unapplied cash, and billing holds; take proactive steps to minimize past-due balances.
- Contact customers regarding past-due accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or related accounting role (prior transportation or logistics experience preferred but not required)
- Experience with collections, dispute resolution, or cost recovery preferred
- Strong understanding of AR processes and customer account management
- Confident, professional communication skills with customers
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

Buildings & Grounds Maintenance
Keep Our Operation Running, and Make a Real Impact Every Day

As a Building & Grounds Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our facilities, equipment, and grounds safe, functional, and ready for whatever the day brings. No two days are the same, and your work will be seen and appreciated.
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Repair issues before they become bigger problems
- Troubleshoot a variety of needs, including:
- Basic carpentry
- Plumbing
- General electrical
- HVAC maintenance
- Complete weekly and monthly maintenance checklists
- Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Work in a way that protects yourself and everyone around you
- Follow safety regulations and company policies
- Partner with our Safety Team on monthly inspections and repairs
- Communicate clearly with vendors and internal team members
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and facilities (aerial lifts, fork trucks, electrical cords, air hoses, etc.)
- Inspect and service systems such as:
- Exit/entrance lights
- Generators
- Fire extinguishers
- HVAC systems
- Handle snow removal and salting during inclement weather to keep the property safe
- Perform minor carpentry repairs and painting projects
- Service and maintain the shop oil furnace and manage waste oil partnerships with local businesses
- Ensure company vehicles are maintained properly and documented
- Work a schedule that meets business needs. Typical hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in basic carpentry, general electrical work, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to use a variety of tools, from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot systems.
- Effective time management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for reading, writing, and understanding instructions and documents.
- Basic math skills for measurement and calculations.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Constantly walk, stand, and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, twisting, climbing, crouching, and squatting.
- Visually inspect small parts and perceive information in noisy environments.

We are looking for an Experienced CDL Driver Recruiter who wants to focus on what they do best—recruiting drivers! If you’ve spent the last several years recruiting truck drivers, you already know this is a different game. From first contact through acceptance, you’ll own the relationship-building, screening, and closing process. Location & Schedule
Our state-of-the-art maintenance facility is located in Marinette, WI. After a 30–60 day training period, you’ll work a 2 on / 3 off, 3 on / 2 off rotation (12-hour shifts) schedule.
What You’ll Do
As a Tractor & Trailer Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our fleet safe, efficient, and road-ready. Your day-to-day will include:
- Performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Troubleshooting systems including air brakes, electrical, driveline, steering, and tires
- Completing routine maintenance to ensure peak performance and safety
- Utilizing welding skills when needed
- Supporting inventory organization and shop efficiency
